About Us

First Baptist Church, Electra TX was established in 1907 by J.S. Sparks and L.A. Foster, missionaries for the Red Fork Baptist Association. 

Rev. Sparks served as the church's first pastor and led in the building of the first church building in 1908. A new building was constructed in 1922, and the currect building was built in 1978.

There have been 23 pastors over the 115 years of FBC Electra, and God has used each one to help spread the message of Gospel.
